President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, to take part in the 2026 Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, an international forum focused on promoting sustainable development worldwide.

The President touched down in the UAE capital late Sunday night at about 11:30 p.m. local time and was welcomed by the UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Shakhboot Nahyan Al Nahyan.

Tinubu is attending the event following an invitation from the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week serves as a week-long platform that brings together policymakers, business leaders, and civil society groups to strengthen dialogue, partnerships, and investment opportunities aimed at accelerating global sustainability initiatives.
